  • Education is a basic Human Right and the Diaspora World Cup global school program focuses its energy in some the poorest countries around the world. We build schools in some of the poorest countries around the worldthat historically had no adequate school structure. Any member of the World Diaspora has the power to end illiteracy around the world through the power of soccer.
  • High-profile sport figures, global leaders, business leaders, political figure, journalists, activists, philanthropists, actors, and entrepreneurs united by their commitment to the Diaspora World Cup mission to eradicate illiteracy around the world through the power of soccer. Seattle – Bellevue





The History of professional soccer in the Seattle-Bellevue spans over four decades, and includes clubs playing in numerous different leagues such as the North American Soccer League, the United Soccer Leagues, the Continental Indoor Soccer League, Major League Soccer, the National Women's Soccer League, and most recently the Major Arena Soccer League.




The Diaspora World Cup in the Pacific Northwest is involved in more than playing soccer. It brings together the world diaspora of over 200 countries in the Seattle-Bellevue area to build of coalition to committed soccer players and colleges and universities students to solve the world most pressing challenge: Illiteracy. We focus on making The Diaspora World Cup an enjoyable experience during our regular season from spring to summer each year.

The Destination
With evergreen forests on its outskirts and cultural institutions within, the Seattle-Bellevue area is a place of contrasts, masterfully blending urban sophistication with scenic adventure. Best encapsulating this juxtaposition are views of snow-capped peaks and the soaring Space Needle. In terms of soccer the Starfire complex is the administrative headquarters and official training facility of the MLS Seattle Sounders FC & Sounders FC 2. The Diaspora World Cup players and its fans will experience the unique opportunity not only to play its league but of seeing professional athletes in an intimate setting.
